Lynn Votes NO! on Tentative agreement with GE!

Show our unity and demands for a fair contract and send off your Union Negotiating Committee to Negotiations in Cincinnati, OH.  Wear your Contract/Union shirts and stand tall! Pass the word through the shop and help bring out your coworkers. YOU are the union!

On May 21, 2019 members of IUE-CWA Local 201 in Lynn, Massachusetts voted unanimously to support a Strike Authorization heading into 2019 GE national contract negotiations.

On March 14th, 2019 the General Electric Coordinated Bargaining Committee (CBC) met in Lynn, Massachusetts, hosted by IUE-CWA Local 201. All committee members were provided a tour of the Lynn GE Facility. Discussions were led by IUE-CWA Acting Conference Board Chairman and Lead Negotiator Jerry Carney and topics included committee structure, future timeline for negotiations, and upcoming negotiation preparation meetings.

On January 8, 2019 IUE-CWA 201 held a Special Election to replace out-going President Peter Capano and outgoing VP/Recording Secretary John “Jay” Walsh. The Election Committee chaired by David Rybicki over saw the process, and did a great job. Congratulations to President Adam “Kaz” Kaszynski and Vice President Tom O’Shea.
